Kailan Seafood Reviews

I love their shrimp dinner, the hot dogs with chili are awesome and their cheese burgers are to die for! Their food is all homemade and the moment you bite into that delicious, flavorful cheeseburger, you will know because it is bursting with flavor and spices AND A BIG PLUS is the the hamburger patty is larger than the bun is and is hand pressed by the owner each morning. The people who own the place and their employees are the nicest, sweetest and kindest people you would ever want to meet. I love this place! You will, too!

This is a small nondescript place, but they have a great cook and a wonderful waiter. We stopped for Sunday lunch and ordered ettouffe, fried shrimp, and fried catfish. Everything was tasty and well prepared. The shrimp and fish were nicely battered and deep fried in such a way that they were not greasy. It was delicious! I wish this place were closer to me. I would eat here often and would love to try their oriental offerings.

The food was great!!! The food came out fast and hot. The server Amy was very nice and helpful. It is a cute little place. I would recommend this to everyone.

This little restaurant is great. The owner, Tammy and her daughter, Amy, are so friendly and sweet. Kim, the waitress is great too. The food is very good and tasty. We will be back. Everyone should stop in and try it. Highly recommended!!!!

I heard that KAILAN seafood took over the formerly Seafood Connection II and wanted to give this place a shot. It did not disappoint at all. I ordered the crawfish ettouffee plate with potato salad and bread, fried catfish with fries and potato salad/bread, and crawfish fried rice. Overall, this hidden gem is worth a try and I'll definitely be back to try their other plates, boiled seafood (I'm talking to you crawfish), and Vietnamese items on their menu!

OBSESSED WITH THEIR AUTHENTIC VIETNAMESE FOOD!! Coming from New Iberia where there's not many options this place is a hidden gem. I highly recommend the Pho 10/10 nothing beats a hot bowl of comfort food to feed the soul. Broth is super flavorful and clean not very oily but rich enough. The rare steak is tender, juicy, and fatty. They are very generous with their meat and noodle portions you can't beat the quality and price at this place. Definitely coming back!!

We have found a hidden gem here, as we were actually going to the market but was wanting a quick meal first, and wanted something new. What a find, small dining area, however the repeat customers were obvious. The menu was a little tricky as you do not see the Pho on the menu, but it's there and delicious, and the catfish poboy had good flavor, the fried rice had its own special taste which went over very well, along with the egg rolls, they were out of crab but the Shrimp boil was over the top with flavor. Do ask for the chili oil for the Pho. Side note, looked like everyone was eating the fresh onion rings which will be trying on our next visit. The customer service is great, and the owner makes you feel welcomed, like joining a family.
